My dad and I have gotten into a routine of getting coffee on Saturday mornings. It’s one of my favorite parts of the week. It’s usually at the Northgate Starbucks- so if you’re around Northgate at around 9am on a Saturday- stop on by!

A few weeks ago my dad mentioned he liked the mug pictured below. I believe his words were, ‘Now that’s a good lookin’ mug.’ My dad doesn’t typically comment on the ascetic of things, so I took note. When Father’s Day rolled around I knew exactly what to get him.

It’s made in Spain from recycled glass, and I agree, it is a good lookin’ mug.

Hope you had a great Father’s Day!

What a wonderful weekend! Dinner party with friends, Saturday morning coffee with Dad, thrift shopping, a very lucrative trip to Buffalo Exchange, Annie’s Affordable Art, making dinner for my family, craftiness, my first ever skype date with Mo, kayaking Greenlake, and a party dedicated solely to cheese?! Plus lots of sunshine?! Weekends don’t get much better.

So grateful for so many good things in my life and the ability to appreciate them.

And just because they’re cute, here are some pics of me and Dad’s kayaking adventure:

Hi!

My name is Megan. I’m a twenty-something girl, living in Seattle, working, living, running, laughing, baking, singing, and being constantly inspired by the glory of God manifested in the beauty of the world around me. I see beauty in a dress, a photo, a thoughtfully decorated room, my friends, a pair of shoes, a cupcake, a song, a flower arrangement. And this is where it all comes together.
